Quick Start
Launch VoiceCompose and press Option+Space to start or stop recording. On first use, follow the macOS prompts to allow Microphone, Speech Recognition, and Accessibility access. After transcription, press Enter to insert text into the focused text field.
Troubleshooting
- Hotkey does not respond: Confirm VoiceCompose is running in the menu bar and that Option+Space is not assigned to another app.
- No transcription appears: Check Microphone and Speech Recognition access in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Text is not inserted: Confirm Accessibility access is enabled and keep focus in a text field that accepts input.
- AI polishing is unavailable: Check the service URL, API key, and model name in settings, or use a workflow that does not require an external AI service.
